How does a child benefit from the Sowing Hope Program?

Supporting a child through our Sowing Hope Sponsorship Program is a powerful way to offer hope and opportunity to a child and family in need. Child Sponsorship enables children from poor villages to attend school and receive a quality education based on the Word of God. Sponsorship also supports our mission of promoting the long-term development of children and families in Guatemala, and creates a personal connection between you and a child participating in our program.

Children who attend one of Mission Impact’s partner schools will not only learn about Jesus Christ and the salvation He offers, but will also receive an education that will help them break out of the cycle of poverty. Your sponsorship will enable students to receive special training in computers, English, home economics, music and more. This will help students obtain better jobs and help support their families in the future.

Child Sponsorship continues as long as the child stays in school or until the child and family move out of the area where we minister. Sponsors will be notified of such changes and are invited to continue the gift of sponsorship with a new child.

Mission Impact Partner Schools

Mission Impact currently partners with two rural Christian schools in Guatemala. You can choose a child from either Escuela Vida y Esperanza, a Pre K- 9th grade school in Santa Lucia Milpas Altas, or Proximos Pasos, an all girls elementary school in Santa Maria de Jesus.

How much does it cost?
Sponsorship costs $30 a month for a child at Escuela Vida y Esperanza or $360 per year. At Proximos Pasos full sponsorship costs $60 per month or $720 per year. You can share in a child’s sponsorship for $30 per month or $360 per year.
