Próximos Pasos is a missionary operated, Christian primary school in Santa Maria de Jesús, Guatemala. We offer a holistic education to girls ages 7 and older who cannot attend the public school because they did not enroll at the appropriate age of 5. We currently offer grades 1 through 4.
Our Vision
To give a positive educational experience to girls who are denied that opportunity by the public schools that they will reach greater heights than ever before imagined and that they would live lives that glorify the Lord Jesus.
Our Mission
To provide a holistic approach to education based on biblical principals in the areas of: developing intellect, caring for the physical, emotional and spiritual health, family involvement and occupational training.
News & Prayer Requests
- Please pray for land in a central location of the village where we can build our own school building
- Please pray for each of the girls attending the school, that they would come to know a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Please pray for the teachers of the school as they discern the best ways to instruct and care for the girls.
- Please pray for God's provision of finances for the school and for our special projects (sewing machines, computers, school supplies, etc).
- Please pray against any schemes the devil may have in mind to destroy our ministry.
