A Little Bit About Me
I came to know Christ when I was in 6th grade through a group of missonaries from Arkansas. In 1986 I moved to Guatemala City for the first time. While I was there I worked and finished school. That year I met again with the group from Arkansas and started a Youth with a Mission YWAM base in Guatemala City. That year I also went on my first mission trip with YWAM to Mexico. Soon after that I traveled to Nicargua for a year a half where I worked with children and homeless people. I also ministered in United States to work with the Latinos in Miami, Floridia who were affected by hurricane Andrew.
After my different expericences in other countries, I felt that God calling me to do missions in my own country. In 1997 I started working with Students International in the area of education. I volunteered at the only public school in a small vilage in Santa Lucia. While volunteering there, I felt that God wanted him to start a Christian school in Santa Lucia.
In 1999, we rented a small house with small rooms to start the Christian school in Santa Lucia. The school started out with only 16 students. We had desks for the students but not for the teachers. During the four years in the small house, we prayed for a bigger facility so that the students could have a happier and more spacious environment. So in 2003, a team from Wisconsin came down to start the construction of the new school. Throughout the year many teams came down to help build the school and in 2004, we moved out of the small house into the new unfinished school. Also durning the year 2004 I became part the of the mission team of Mission Impact.
Twenty years ago, I accepted Christ through a group of missionaries and now I am working with children to share the gospel of Christ with them so that they can be saved.
